Healthy Posture Healthy Life
The Healthy Posture Healthy Life program is an easy to understand postural education and stretching program that is specifically structured to assist office employees to identify poor sitting and computer postures. The program consists of a one hour presentation that is split into a half hour of theory, followed by an interactive half hour workshop. Combining the theory and practical components in the one session allows the office workers to appreciate the relevance of the movements and the way that they directly relate to the office environment.
Our experienced personnel will guide your staff through a program using specifically adapted movements for the office environment to assist workers to effectively use postural muscles.
Key Outcomes:
- Introducing postural modification and functional loading of joints will assist in improving the physiological status of employees, whilst also reducing the risk of injury within the work place.
- Increasing the employees’ knowledge through postural education will assist them to take an active role in self-management.
- Maintain and improve the health of the ageing members of the work force.
- Delivery of a preventative health program which provides clear health benefits to employees’ health both at work and at home demonstrates the commitment of the organisation to the health of their employees.

Work Related Injury
Having over ten years experience working with employees who have sustained work related injuries, Exercise For Life is well recognised as an effective program that supports employees to effectively return to their working environment.
In order to provide professional services and support, Exercise For Life has two purpose built centres, positioned North and South of the river.
Exercise For Life has also developed a unique working relationship with Specialist Exercise Physiology Services (SEPS) to provide exercise physiology services for employees who may not have access to an Exercise For Life centre.
Our accredited Exercise Physiologists work specifically with the injured worker, using a unique education, work hardening and behavioural modification approach to facilitate an effective, sustainable return to work pathway.
The effectiveness of the return to work program has been achieved by empowering the injured worker to self manage their health whilst incorporating an open line of communication between the insurer and the employer.
Exercise For Life has been providing The Fire and Emergency Authority of Western Australia with specialised return to work programs for Fire-fighters who have sustained injuries within the workplace for eight years.
